Chris Holdship:
How did it go?
Week 4 has been the easiest week of all to monitor, as adapting the time of the six week intervention schedule to the client’s personal life -in order to determine when to do an activity- is much easier to organise with a busy lifestyle. Chris has found this week to be much simpler and easy to partake in, compared to the previous three weeks.

How did you feel?
The intervention is slowly becoming easier to track, due to familiarity and gaining organisation as the same routines are repeated.
How was the client feeling? Client feedback.
Week 4 was an enjoyable week, with no clashes between Chris’s occupational or personal life.
Chris: Loving the calming meditation, it’s an experience I haven’t been able to try out before. Also enjoying the face masks; they’re beginning to grow on me!
Was it successful? Why?
Familiarity makes the routine more fun to regularly include in daily life; simple strategies are the little things that make the goal of achieving a good level of mindfulness, all the more easier.
What changes need to occur?
Letting the client determine when is the best time to complete each activity, rather than strictly taking over their free time with a new intervention. When the client decides, the strategies are scheduled for a more flexible time and make the mentality of planning activities less of a ‘must do’ and more of a ‘want to’.
