What did you do?
Friday: Food and Family Friday (comfortable social interactions with family members-movies, board games, dinner)
Sunday: Sunday Sleeps (a flexible sleep schedule to catch up on energy lost during the week)
Monday: Monday Meditation (a 10-minute ly-down with background music every Monday morning)
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday (pampering day with baths, facemasks and relaxation)
Chris Holdship:
How did it go?
Chris thoroughly enjoyed the fun of the experience and its diversity in activities, however, much of the time allocated for each day had to be cut short due to his increasingly stressful occupational life.

How did you feel?
As the first trialling week, I was feeling very open with my expectations of the outcome, but ultimately hoping for Chris to enjoy each strategy.
How was the client feeling? Client feedback.
Chris was genuinely open to trying out our mindfulness program and proceded to enjoy each experience with as much enthusiasm as possible.
Chris: Each strategy was interesting in its approach to the topic. I definitely feel a little more mindful.
Was it successful? Why?
As a trialling week, yes, the intervention was successful in improving certain aspects of mindfulness and toning down others that have a more uncomfortable presence in the mind. However, occupation-related work and stress has made it difficult to keep to schedule and help each client to really ‘participate and enjoy’ the journey.
What changes need to occur?
In the future, the program should be more flexible to changes of the lifestyle and unexpected problems that appear during the week.
